The gallery below details recently completed work in a distillery yard in which DMC excavated the existing damaged concrete suface. It was shown that the ground below the damaged concrete was soft and an unsuitable foundation on which to lay the new concrete. An extra 200mm had to be excavated which then led to a new sub-base being laid on a membrane and compacted before the new concrete could be laid.
Our drainage squad carried out a full CCTV survey of all the yard drainage and sewage system on site before the new concrete was laid.
